About Course
This course focuses on the money decisions people actually face day to day, not abstract theory. You will learn how to budget with irregular income, avoid common debt traps, and start building savings and simple financial goals that hold up in real life.
The course is written for people on any income, including irregular or informal income. Lessons cover building a budget and tracking where money goes, an emergency fund, how interest and debt work and how to avoid debt traps, the difference between saving and investing, bank accounts and mobile money, protecting yourself from financial scams, insurance, saving for education and family goals, credit and working with banks, SACCOs and microfinance, and building a habit of reviewing your finances.
It has 20 written lessons with practical exercises and a final assessment quiz. It teaches general money skills only and is not personal financial advice. Study at your own pace.
This course is free. It is a Bang Ti Lenydoor course and is not an accredited or formal qualification, and it does not promise jobs, income or admission to any programme.
