Once you’ve been accepted, there’s a lot to organize before departure. Here’s a general checklist.

Documents

  • Valid passport (check the expiry date covers your full study period)
  • Visa/study permit, applied for well in advance
  • Admission and financial documents required by immigration
  • Academic records and certificates (originals and copies)

Health

  • Required vaccinations for your destination
  • Health/travel insurance valid for your entire stay
  • Any prescription medications, with documentation

Finances

  • Confirm how you’ll access funds abroad
  • Understand any proof-of-funds requirements for your visa

Before You Fly

  • Arrange accommodation for at least your first few weeks
  • Understand your arrival process (airport pickup, orientation dates)
  • Share your travel details with family
