Advanced Excel: Data Analysis & Dashboards Professional Certificate
About Course
This course is for learners who already know the basics of Excel and now want to turn raw records into clear answers. Over 24 hours of guided study you will learn how to prepare messy data, write the formulas that analysts use every day, summarise large lists with PivotTables and present results in charts and dashboards that managers, donors and colleagues can understand quickly.
The lessons use small, fictional datasets from the kinds of work done by NGOs and small businesses in South Sudan and East Africa, such as training registers, sales records and activity logs. Every sample table is short enough to retype, so you can practise on any computer with Excel and follow along without downloading files.
Excel features differ between versions. Where a function or tool needs Microsoft 365 or Excel 2021, such as XLOOKUP or dynamic arrays, the lesson says so and shows an older alternative. Free options in Google Sheets and LibreOffice Calc are noted where they exist.
The course has six modules, a short quiz after each of the first five, and a final examination. In Module 6 you build a complete dashboard from a provided dataset and check it against a self-assessment checklist. A Bang Ti Lenydoor certificate of completion is awarded to learners who finish the course; it is not an accredited qualification.
