Customer Service & Sales Professional Certificate
About Course
Every shop, market stall, workshop, clinic desk and NGO front office depends on how people are treated. This course teaches the standard, practical skills of customer service and honest selling so that you can serve people respectfully, solve problems calmly and build trust over time.
It is designed for young people, shop and market traders, small-business staff and NGO front-desk staff in South Sudan and East Africa. No earlier training is needed. Examples are fictional and labelled as illustrations, and money examples use a neutral unit called currency units (CU), so the ideas apply whatever money you use.
You will move step by step: what customer service is and who your customers are, communication by voice, body language, phone and messages, handling complaints and difficult situations, serving people of different cultures, languages and abilities, product knowledge and the ethical sales process, simple pricing, sales records and stock, cash and mobile money safety, repeat customers and feedback, and finally professionalism, ethics and customer data privacy.
The course runs at a steady pace of about 20 study hours in total, with a quiz after each module, a capstone of role-play scripts and a customer-care plan for a fictional shop, and a final examination. This is a practical skills course. It gives a Bang Ti Lenydoor certificate of completion and is not an accredited or formal qualification. It does not promise jobs, income or sales results. Rules on consumer protection, data protection and trading differ by place, so always check them with the relevant authority or a qualified professional.
