About Course

Every organisation now collects more data than it can use. The people who are valuable are not the ones who can collect it, but the ones who can look at it and say clearly what it means and what should be done next. That is what this course teaches.

You will work through the full analytics process as it happens in real workplaces: starting from a question worth answering, gathering and cleaning data that is never as tidy as textbooks pretend, describing what it actually shows, and presenting findings so that a decision-maker can act on them. The emphasis throughout is on judgement rather than tools — knowing which comparison is fair, when an average misleads, and how to tell the difference between a real pattern and noise.

What makes this course different

No prior experience with statistics or programming is assumed. Every concept is introduced through practical examples drawn from the kinds of data you can actually get hold of: attendance records, survey responses, sales figures, programme results. The assignments ask you to work with real data rather than answer questions about it.

How the course is structured

Five modules, each with four written lessons, a quiz, and a practical assignment. The course closes with a capstone project in which you carry out a complete analysis from question to recommendation, and a final certification examination. On completion you receive a certificate with a unique ID that any employer or institution can verify publicly.

What Will You Learn?

  • Frame a vague request as a specific question that data can actually answer
  • Clean and prepare messy real-world data so it can be trusted
  • Choose the right summary measure and recognise when an average misleads
  • Spot genuine patterns and resist reading meaning into random variation
  • Build charts that make a finding obvious rather than decorative
  • Present an analysis so a decision-maker knows what to do next
