About Course

NewThis certificate just launched and is open for enrollment now.

Intermediate Business & Entrepreneurship Professional Certificate is a self-paced, practical follow-on course for anyone who has already launched, or is actively running, a small business and wants to grow and professionalize it: stronger finances, real marketing and sales strategy, solid operations and team management, a clear growth plan, and the legal and risk basics that matter as the stakes get higher.

Across roughly four months of part-time, self-paced study, you will move through financial management and accounting, marketing and sales strategy, operations and team management, growth and strategic planning, and legal, risk and compliance, finishing with a capstone project where you build a complete growth and operations plan for a realistic small business scenario.

What You Will Learn

  • Read and use basic financial statements, manage cash flow, and price for real profit
  • Build a marketing and sales strategy that goes beyond basic promotion, including a digital presence
  • Create systems, SOPs, and hiring practices that let a small business run without you doing everything
  • Recognize when and how to scale, and set a strategic plan with goals you can actually measure
  • Compare realistic funding options for growth, from savings and community groups to loans and investors
  • Apply legal, contract, insurance, and risk-management basics to protect a growing business
  • Build a complete growth and operations plan as a real capstone project
