Web Development Fundamentals
About Course
A complete, 2-month introduction to building real websites from scratch. Starting from zero, you will learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the three core building blocks of every website, and finish by planning, building, and publishing your own real webpage.
You will learn how the web works, then build up page by page: HTML structure, text, links, images and forms; CSS colours, fonts, the box model, Flexbox and mobile-friendly design; and JavaScript basics including variables, functions, events, the DOM and debugging. You then plan, test and publish a real webpage using free hosting.
The course has 22 written lessons, including a capstone project and a self-assessment. You only need a computer with a modern web browser. Study at your own pace.
This course is free. It is a Bang Ti Lenydoor course and is not an accredited or formal qualification, and it does not promise jobs, income or admission to any programme.
