Eligibility
- Citizen of South Sudan (or another Chevening-eligible country/territory) and intending to return there for at least 2 years after the award ends
- Have at least 2 years of work experience (roughly 2,800 hours), gained at any point before applying
- Hold an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a UK master's course
- Applying for a place on a full-time UK master's course, and able to start it during the 2027/28 academic year
- Not currently studying, or intending to independently pursue, another UK-funded master's or PhD in the UK
- Not have already benefited from a UK-government-funded scholarship (e.g. Chevening) in the last 5 years
- Not hold British or dual British citizenship, and not be an employee, close relative of an employee, or have worked for FCDO/a diplomatic mission in the last 2 years
